January 2005 meeting
In January, Bob Pollack and John Bailey debate whether the West Side development program should be put in place.
The negative was the winner. Two guests attended.

Next month, Bill Henning and Bob Pinchak will debate the partial privatizing of Social Security. Bill Henning will be the affirmative, proposing the change, and Bob Pinchak will have the negative position.

July Debate
Yesterday, we debated whether "Same-sex marriages should be legally recognized." Robert Pollock, the affirmative, and Bill Henning, the negative, debated to a tie.

In the impromptu debate, it was resolved that "Junk e-mail should be made illegal." The negative won, thanks to the contributions of Shurland Cummings and two of our guests.

Next month, John Bailey and Kate Liu will be debating a topic to be determined later.

Shurland requested that we have a list of topics for possible debate, and it was agreed the Vice President of Eduction (I) would do so.
