Yesterday, we debated whether "Same-sex marriages should be legally recognized." Robert Pollock, the affirmative, and Bill Henning, the negative, debated to a tie.
In the impromptu debate, it was resolved that "Junk e-mail should be made illegal." The negative won, thanks to the contributions of Shurland Cummings and two of our guests.
Next month, John Bailey and Kate Liu will be debating a topic to be determined later.
Shurland requested that we have a list of topics for possible debate, and it was agreed the Vice President of Eduction (I) would do so.
